This sprawling apartment serves as a home away from home for this family of four who have an affinity for entertaining and family gatherings. Inspiration sprung from an eggplant le Creuset which set the stage for this vibrant jewel toned residence. Antiques from London and special pieces from our client’s personal art collection will meet a fresh environment, creating the perfect mix of old and new.
First Floor Layout + Living Room
With an open floor plan in the main living areas, it is important to maintain cohesion from the kitchen to the living room. Function, style and the right layout are key in making this a space that is inviting and welcoming to guests.
Master Bedroom
The goal of the master bedroom is to create a place of relaxation. Muted colors and delicate patterns are carefully selected to create an atmosphere that is soothing and quite contrasting to the hustle and bustle outside.
Bar
A French Bistro was the desired design goal for this room. A mirrored wall, silk shades, and an antique enfilade from London will be sure to take you on a journey abroad!
Second Floor
The second floor is home to the secondary bedrooms, library, and family room which also serves as the family’s art studio. With the bedrooms separated from the library and family room, this divine layout is ideal for hosting extended family.
